The Rainbow Action Against Sexual-Minority Discrimination was established on 17 May 2008 and consists of 16 LGBT organizations. Recently, the Rainbow Action Against Sexual-Minority Discrimination actively campaigns on the enactment of Student Human Rights Ordinance and Anti-Discrimination Act in the Republic of Korea, raising awareness of the LGBT rights against conservative protestant groups, and organize annual LGBT Human Rights Forum.
The Aims of the Rainbow Action Against Sexual-Minority Discrimination is:
Acting together for the various issues which can’t be solved by individual LGBT NGO;
Spreading communications and actions through various LGBT human right areas and organizations;
Enlarging solidarities of the LGBT movement with other human right movements and promoting various issues.
